As Risk Manager within the section Group Risk Management, you are mainly responsible for the management of potential operational risks. The section Group Risk Management is coordinating the risk management activities of Deutsche Börse Group. Principal task of the section is the monitoring of operational, financial and business risk within Deutsche Börse AG and its subsidiaries to ensure that all developments that could jeopardize the interests of the organisation can be identified at an early stage and suitable countermeasures deployed.

Your responsibilities
Monitoring of operational risks to which Deutsche Börse Group is exposed
Maintenance and improvement of the existing qualitative and quantitative risk measurement framework, especially the Basel II Advanced Measurement Approach (AMA) of Clearstream International
Assessment of potential risk arising from new business, new products, changes in internal procedures or external dependencies
Periodic and ad hoc reporting of the operational risk situation
Contribution to improve risk awareness as part of corporate culture
Day-to-day activities to support the general objectives of the section including administrative tasks

Our requirements
University degree or similar
Strong experience in banking/securities processing environment
Risk Management experience and sound knowledge of statistical concepts would be an advantage
Strong analytical skills, creativity, as well as the ability to work independently and under pressure
Good presentation and communication skills and ability to work in a team
Proficiency in written and spoken English; Fluency in German and French is an advantage
