| The number of insider transactions in Europe is increasing steadily. In the past eight years, its volume has nearly quadrupled. Since January 2003, transactions of directors and the supervisory board members in stocks of their own companies need to be reported EU-wide. In the past, an analysis for the European market has been time consuming and inefficient due to numerous sources and different formats in various languages. With the concept European Director's Dealings, Deutsche Börse offers an efficient access to EU-wide Director's Dealings. Based on this data, Deutsche Börse developed a transparent set of new strategy indices: the DAXplus ® Director's Dealings index family. The DAXplus ® Directors Dealing indices track the performance of companies whose shares have been heavily bought by company members in the past 12 months. Backward calculations have revealed that an investment according to the directors dealings approach generated a significant outperformance against established benchmarks especially in bull markets. As of today, indices for Germany, Switzerland and UK are available.
