Deutsche Börse’s DAXplus® Maximum Dividend Index is a further step in the development of innovative dividend strategies. It was designed primarily for investors who want to focus less on price fluctuations and more on the development of the economic results of Germany’s key companies. It maximizes the dividend return, i. e. the annual dividend as a percentage of the investment for the most important German equities. The weighting in the index is based on the expected dividend returns. The higher the dividend return of a company, the higher its weighting in the index portfolio. The maximum weight of a company at the time of adjustment is ten percent, to prevent domination by certain equities. The DAXplus® Maximum Dividend Index is calculated as a price and performance index.
