| DAXglobal ® GCC Index covers five of the 6 states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). Saudi Arabia is not represented in the index. The index provides a transparent, rule-tradable and easy access to the emerging countries of the Gulf-Region. The region distinguishes itself by a very fast economic growth, particularly fueled by large oil deposits. By investing in DAXglobal ® GCC, the investor receives access to the countries of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. The index consists of 40 companies. Country weights are derived from the GDPs of each country. To prevent the index from being dominated by particular countries, the maximum weight per country is set to 35%. The DAXglobal ® GCC Index hereby extended the existing DAXglobal ® family for international indices.
