DAXglobal ® Latin America Index represents the most interesting Latin American markets. Currently, the index includes 40 companies from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru. DAXglobal® Latin America expands the existing DAXglobal ® family and provides a transparent, rule-based and easy access to the Latin American market.

For the index constitution one major focus has been set on the tradability of the companies included in the index. All constituents contained in the index need to have a minimum daily turnover of 1 million USD. The index is currently composed of American Depository Receipts (ADRs), trading at US-Stock Exchanges. ADRs are a very popular vehicle for companies from emerging countries to gain access to developed capital markets in Europe and the U.S.

This concept has already been applied to other indices of the DAXglobal ® family and proved very successfully in securing tradability in difficult times.
