As an Articled Clerk (Referendariat/Traineeship) - Legal Affairs you will be able to get to know all tasks normally performed by a corporate legal division. In addition to supporting the public institutions Frankfurt Stock Exchange(FWB)and Eurex Deutschland, the Legal Affairs Division of Deutsche Börse AG also services Group members including Deutsche Börse Systems AG, Eurex Frankfurt AG, Eurex Clearing AG, Clearstreambanking (Luxembourg) and Clearstream Banking AG. During a clerkship in our company, you will have the excellent opportunity to gain an insight into the different areas of our company. In a dynamic team you will be able to gather valuable experiences and to combine the theory of the university with practical knowledge. Furthermore, you will be actively taking part in our process, while we are offering you diverse, interesting and above all challenging tasks.

Your responsibilities
Process economic law, administrative law and private case law, for instance pertaining to the law governing stock exchange transactions, stock corporation law and contractual law
Deal with issues related to the establishment and structuring of a clearing house (Eurex Clearing AG)and a securities clearing and deposit bank(Clearstream Banking AG)
Handle issues connected to banking, corporate law and capital market law

Our requirements
Above-average results in first state examinations (fully satisfactory)
Sound knowledge of administrative law
Excellent knowledge of English (preferably gained in an English-speaking country)
Initial experience in the field of law pertaining to stock market transactions, and capital market law
Current enrollment at a University
