As an Intern - Business Development - Competitor Intelligence you will have the excellent opportunity to explore capital market dynamics and to gain valuable practical experience in an innovative company. The Team Product Management is responsible for the further development of the cash market. Analysis of existing market and industrial trends, options for emerging markets, products and customer groups, all developed for the production decision stage, will be attended for the implementation. Therefore, the measures for competitive monitoring are an essential component. As an integrated team member you will undertake research as well as qualitative and quantitative analyses of the competitive environment. The strategic concept of the field will give you the opportunity to participate in shaping the future development of the European capital market. You will be actively taking part in our process, while we are offering you diverse, interesting and above all challenging tasks

Your responsibilities
Accomplishing market and competitor analysis
Supporting the team with analysis for the strategic positioning and issuing decision proposals
Involved in current strategic projects as well as supporting the project management in diverse tasks.

Our requirements
Students must be enrolled in an academic programme recognised by the state during their internship
Minimum of two successfully completed semesters of undergraduate studies (Vordiplom, BAC+2)
Proficiency in written and spoken German and English
A competent handling of MS-Office applications (in particular MS Excel); Knowledge in MS Access is an advantage
Proficiency in Web 2.0-technologies, especially Wiki
Proficiency in use of Bloomberg and/or Reuters is an advantage
Analytical and conceptual skills
Knowledge of the functionality of financial and capital markets is an advantage
Presentation ability as well as communication and team ability
