As Market Supervision Specialist Clearing Operations within the section Clearing & Risk Operations, you will be responsible for the fair and orderly operation of the clearing functionalities, for the supervision of the risk situation of Eurex Clearing as well as for supporting the members of the Eurex Clearing AG and the related trading systems Eurex, Eurex Bonds Eurex Repo, Xetra and Floor. Market Supervision operates and manages the electronic trading systems Xetra (Xetra and Floor) and Eurex (Eurex, Eurex Bonds, Eurex Repo) in consideration of rules and regulations. Hence, the department is responsible for a fair and orderly handling of clearing activities, it supervises the options and future trading on Eurex, acts as functional help desk for market participants, operates the infrastructure of the floor and is responsible for problem and escalation management.

Your responsibilities
Ensure the correct clearing house operation of Eurex Clearing AG with focus on credit default swaps and its partners e.g. monitoring the clearing of derivatives, supervision of Eurex Clearing and CCP simulation etc.
Physical settlement of bonds and shares
Execution of partial deliveries and buy ins
Functional helpdesk for Eurex Clearing members
Participation in projects

Our requirements
University degree in economics/ business administration and/or comparable training
Knowledge of the cash and derivatives markets
Knowledge of national and international credit default swap, equity and bonds settlement
Knowledge of Eurex Clearing AG clearance systems as well as of settlement systems Cascade and/or Creation will be an asset
Creativity, distinctive analytical skills, reliability as well as the ability to work independently and under pressure
Flexibility and a strong customer focus
Proficiency in written and spoken German and English
