Legal Counsel (female/male)
We have a vacancy at Clearstream International Lux in Luxembourg

As Legal Counsel, you will be mainly dealing with legal issues relating to banking, securities law as well as clearing and settlement industry. The focus of your activities will be on providing legal assistance to internal customers and to companies operated by Deutsche Börse Group, in particular Clearstream Banking AG.

Your responsibilities
Negotiate, draft and review contracts
Provide internal legal opinions and advise on legal issues
Coordinate legal tasks in relation with internal projects
Compile and analyse legal and regulatory developments

Our requirements
Volljurist (honours or above). A postgraduate degree in law is an asset
At least 2 years of professional experience in the finance industry or in a law firm with focus on securities law, banking and/or capital markets
Knowledge of German (and, ideally, Luxembourg) legal and regulatory environment
German speaking, also fluent in both written and spoken English. Knowledge of French will be an advantage
