The German Corporate Governance Code was first presented in February 2002 by a government commission appointed by the German Ministry of Justice. Our Company has been a member of this commission from the outset and has actively campaigned for improved codes of conduct and comprehensive disclosure requirements. Both the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board issue an annual declaration of conformity with the German Corporate Governance Code. This declaration is published in the Annual Report as well as on our website. In the future Deutsche Börse AG will again comply with the vast majority of the recommendations and suggestions of the German Corporate Governance Code in the current version from 26 May 2010 published in the electronic Federal Gazette on 2 July 2010.
