KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft (formerly KPMG Deutsche Treuhand-Gesellschaft Aktiengesellschaft Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft) audited the consolidated annual financial statements, comprising the balance sheet, the income statement and the statements of changes in equity and cash flows, the notes to the financial statements as well as the Group management report including the remuneration report prepared by Deutsche Börse AG, Frankfurt/Main, for the business year from 1 January to 31 December 2008, and issued an unqualified audit opinion.
