STOXX Limited is a joint venture between Deutsche Börse AG, Dow Jones & Company and the SIX Swiss Exchange. STOXX Limited calculates and distributes Dow Jones STOXX® indices.

STOXX Limited was launched in 1998, shortly before the introduction of the euro and the establishment of the European Monetary Union. The Dow Jones STOXX® indices are now the leading European index family.
