With PROPRIS®, Deutsche Börse Group offers a set of high quality “Process Proven” instrument data which will improve process and settlement quality.
Financial Intermediates, Banks and Vendor Clients will receive instrument reference data from Europe’s leading provider of back office services for securities in domestic and cross-border trading and settlement. PROPRIS has, among others, particularly been designed to satisfy the need of data vendors to distribute clean data to all market participants. Data purchasers have easy access to a comprehensive set of static and event reference data.
Process Proven Reference Data The individual back office will benefit from a significant improvement of internal process quality and an opportunity to reduce costs for scrubbing and cleansing data, as PROPRIS data is produced for use in Deutsche Börse Group’s custody and settlement processes. PROPRIS products cover instruments from the German (DE), Luxembourg (LU) and Eurobond (XS) market.
For each market, there is a “New Issues” and a “Financial Event” product. Product Packaging New Issues - Provides data that has been created within Deutsche Börse Group’s New Issues processes (with operations in Frankfurt, Luxembourg and London).
- The data universe is driven by New Issues acceptance.
- Data are taken directly from acceptance processes, i. e. data is process-relevant.

Financial Events - Corporate Actions and Income Event data comes from Clearstream’s custody processes (operations in Frankfurt and Luxembourg).
- Data universe is driven by holdings and only confirmed events.
- Data covers over 50 types of events and has excellent depth of information, e. g. for rate resets and poolfactor changes.
- Only confirmed data is transmitted, i.e. PROPRIS data is synchronized with custody processes.

Market Coverage Product packages are available in XML files via FTP service several times a day. Financial Events and New Issues packages can be purchased individually or in any combination. There is also a possibility to see the content of all PROPRIS data packages via the view application WSS Online.
