Xpect Age Indices |
Xpect Age Indices indicate on a yearly base the average life expectancy of defined age groups. This represents an open portfolio of population based data. Yearly, the respective population of each cohort of the age groups 65-90 is multiplied with its actual life expectancy and the results are added up. This sum is divided by the complete population of the age groups. The resulting index value represents the average life expectancy for the respective age groups shown in years. Customizing is offered for additional age groups upon request. Please notice, that the changes in the Xpect Age Indices Germany with the Netherlands are not directly comparable. Germany is based on the extended Generation Life Table (Gompertz Function) up to the age of 110 years and the Netherlands Generation Life Table is up to the age of 90 years.
