The Xentric Fix Gateway allows an efficient and fast connection of participants’ FIX-based applications to the VALUES API-based trading systems Xetra and Eurex. The Xentric FIX Gateway consists of a FIX Engine and the Exchange Adapter. The FIX Engine secures the communication between the connected partners and is responsible for the administrative aspects of the FIX protocol.
The mapping of inbound and outbound FIX messages is conducted by the Exchange Adapter. It constitutes the connection to the trading system and converts the messages from the trading system format into FIX and vice versa. The Xentric FIX Gateway allows exchange participants to enter, modify or delete an order, to receive order status messages and execution reports.
