Trading Parameter

The minimum trading size for all shares in Xetra® trading is one unit. This applies both in continuous trading and during auctions. In floor trading at FWB® Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse (Frankfurt Stock Exchange), orders from one share onwards are also possible.

Xetra Tick Size

The tick size for equities traded on Xetra is generally 0.001 € (0.1 cent) for price limits of up to 0.25 €. For price limits above 0.25 € the tick size for most instruments is 0.01 € (1 cent).

Due to the high levels of liquidity at a low absolute price the tick size for the following shares has been set at 0.005 € (0.5 cent) for price limits above 0.25 €; for the ETF instruments at the bottom of the table 0.001 € (0.1 cent):
