ETF Exchange Traded Funds |
Exchange Traded Funds Exchange Traded Funds are passively managed on the stock exchange with the aim to replicate the performance of an underlying index. Underlying indices may be national or international equity indices, commodity indices, bond or even real estate indices. Indices and markets can be traded as easily as shares. All major functionalities of the fully electronic Xetra® trading platform are available for trading in ETFs, these include various forms of auctions, different order types and a minimum trading size of one fund share. The liquidity in Xetra trading is provided by Designated Sponsors who offer binding prices for bid and sell side. The price can be verified at all times using the indicative net asset value (iNAV®) which is calculated continuously. Deutsche Börse’s XTF Exchange Traded Funds® segment is Europe’s leading market for actively and passively managed Exchange Traded Funds. Almost 98% of the turnover in ETFs is traded via the fully electronic Xetra trading platform. Price information on the instruments may be found at boerse-frankfurt.com.
