ETC Exchange Traded Commodities |
ETCs are open-ended securities which can be bought and sold intraday by investors on a regulated exchange via Xetra in the same way as any equity. They provide accurate and transparent commodity exposure to recognized benchmarks in a single trade. Investors can buy and sell the new ETCs through regulated brokers or approved market makers. ETCs can be traded with all the same order types available to equities, including market, limit and stop orders. The minimum trade size is one security. Exchange Traded Commodities are very similar to ETFs and share many of their advantages. They are actually structured as secured notes and not as funds, are cost-effective and have transparent pricing. They are open-ended, traded on a regulated exchange and offer investors high liquidity. Legally, ETCs constitute secured, undated, zero-coupon notes from the respective issuer. Price information on the instruments may be found at boerse-frankfurt.com. |
