Certificates are bonds which enable participation in the price development of financial instruments such as shares.

Warrants securitize the right but not the obligation to buy or sell a certain quantity of a certain item of an underlying instrument at a predetermined price at a certain time. Equities or equity indices as well as sectors and regions, interest rates, currencies or commodities serve as underlyings. The warrants are traded on the international electronic trading platform Xetra®. More than 280,000 certificates and warrants are traded via Scoach, a joint veture of Deutsche Börse and the Swiss SWX Group, which has been connected to Xetra since April 2008.
