Trader Admission Process

Trader admission to Xetra® and/or floor trading/Xontro is simple, fast and transparent with eXAS, the new Electronic eXchange Admission Service. This service can be found in the Members Only Section.

Which processes does eXAS support?

eXAS allows

• the trader to apply for admission as an exchange trader at FWB® Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse (the Frankfurt Stock Exchange) for Xetra and Floor Trading/XONTRO;
• the exchange trader, the Admission Administrator or the person responsible for the allocation and maintenance of User IDs (User ID Maintainer) to apply for de-registration of an exchange trader at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange;
• the User ID Maintainer to receive an overview about all User IDs of their company and the associated user names;
• the User ID Maintainer to apply for setup and deletion of User IDs electronically and to modify existing User IDs.

Information flow and access to eXAS

• eXAS notifies all involved persons per e-mail about the current status of processing throughout the admission procedure.
• eXAS is accessible via the Service Point in the Members Only Xetra/Floor area, where applicants will find the user manual about the new service.

The paper-based application procedure will run in conjunction with the new eXAS service until the end of March 2009. From 1 April 2009, it is planned to manage application and deregistration exclusively via eXAS.
