Xetra® is the trading system for the cash market of Deutsche Börse and, at the same time, synonymous with the automation and internationalisation of securities trading. Xetra is the world's most efficient and flexible system infrastructure for fully electronic securities trading.

In November 1997, Xetra was launched at Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse (FWB®, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange). Xetra operates independently of the trader's location and provides insight into the order book in which bids and asks are documented.
