Declaration of Conformity

The German Corporate Governance Code gives guidelines for the executive management and supervision of listed companies in Germany. It draws together the internationally and nationally recognized standards for best practice in corporate governance. The goal of the German Corporate Governance Code is to promote the confidence of investors, customers, employees and the general public in German corporate governance.

The current Declaration of Conformity in accordance with § 161 of the German Stock Corporation Act was submitted by the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Börse AG on 13 December 2011. Therein, the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board declare that in the future Deutsche Börse AG will again comply with the vast majority of the recommendations and suggestions of the German Corporate Governance Code in the current version from 26 May 2010 published in the electronic Federal Gazette on 2 July 2010.
