Deutsche Börse Conducts Changes to Their International Indices

On Friday, 12 December 2008, Deutsche Börse announced changes to the following equity indices. These changes will take effect on Monday, 22 December 2008.

• DAXglobal Russia+

• DAXglobal Russia

• DAXplus Maximum Sharpe Ratio USA

• DAXplus Minimum Variance France

• DAXplus Minimum Variance Germany

• DAXplus Minimum Variance Japan

• DAXplus Minimum Variance Switzerland

• DAXplus Minimum Variance USA

• DBIX Deutsche Börse India Index

The final weighting factors (qit) for all DAXglobal Indices based on Friday 12 December closing prices will be published on Wednesday 17 December and can also be downloaded in the News & Events Section then.
The weighting factors will be kept constant through the chaining process.

Companies facing restructuring measures in the near future which significantly influence their current corporate organization were not considered within the context of the new composition.
