Deutsche Börse Announces Price Model for the Pan-European Trading Segment “Xetra International Market”

Eurex to Launch First Futures Contract Based on Asian Index
New equity index future based on MSCI Japan will be introduced on 26 October. The future serves as a hedging tool for equity exposures in the largest Asian market.
Pending approval of the EEX Exchange Council, the new futures will be launched as of 27 October 2009. The partners will be offering new EUA (European Emission Allowance) and CER (Certified Emission Reductions) futures with a different maturity and delivery date, in addition to the contracts already offered.
In September, €107.4 billion were traded on Xetra® and on the floor at Börse Frankfurt. A total of 230.8 million contracts were traded on Eurex and ISE.
Scoach Introduces Exchange Trading for Foreign Currency Products – HSBC Trinkaus Issues First Products
Products in various foreign currencies can be traded on the Frankfurt certificate exchange, Scoach, with immediate effect. These currencies include the US dollar, Swiss franc and Swedish krona.
Deutsche Börse has announced an unscheduled change in the composition of SDAX®. After the extraordinary general meeting of Hypo Real Estate Holding AG has resolved upon the full exclusion of current shareholders, the share does no longer fulfill the free float requirements of the SDAX index according to Deutsche Börse’s Guide to Equity Indices.

Deutsche Börse has announced an unscheduled adjustment to the free float of HeidelbergCement AG in MDAX®. Due to an increase in share capital of HeidelbergCement AG, the free float of the MDAX member altered by more than 10 percentage points.
Unscheduled Update of the Scenario Calculation for DAX
Deutsche Börse AG has updated its scenario calculation for the future weightings of the DAX® index. Reason for the adjustment is the change in the free float of the Volkswagen ordinary shares.
