Artists |
All artists represented in the Art Collection Deutsche Börse draw their motifs from the modern world: they show urbane life, people, nature, architecture. Their photographs are international and multicultural, inspiring and critical, bright and provocative. The heart of the Collection consists of photographs by Bernd and Hilla Becher as well as extensive series by students from the Bernd Becher master class of the Düsseldorf Art Academy: Andreas Gursky, Axel Hütte, Candida Höfer, Thomas Ruff, Jörg Sasse and Thomas Struth. This focus has been expanded and supplemented, and works by members of the younger generation now stand alongside photographs by artists who are considered classic masters of the genre today. The Collection is a living body and appears in ever new configurations, thanks to new acquisitions and rearrangement of existing items. Art Collection Deutsche Börse is part of the company’s corporate culture, reflecting the values that define the Group as a whole: creativity, transparency and innovation.
