alstria office REIT-AG is, by its own account, an independently managed Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) specialized in acquiring, owning and managing German office properties.

Hamburg-based alstria was founded in January 2006 and in October 2007 became the first German property company to convert into an REIT.

alstria owns a diversified portfolio of high-quality office properties in various locations in Germany such as Hamburg, Munich, Stuttgart, Hanover and Düsseldorf. At present, the alstria portfolio features 70 properties with a total rental area of approx. 770,000 sq.m. and has a value of about EUR 1.6 billion. The single largest alstria tenants at present are the City of Hamburg, Daimler and the Barmer health insurance company.

alstria intends to expand its portfolio significantly in coming years in line with its growth strategy, which focuses on selective investments, active asset and portfolio management, as well as on maintaining and nurturing close and longstanding relationships to tenants and the relevant decision-makers. Depending on market conditions, alstria is targeting an annual investment volume of EUR 500-700 million over the next three years.

alstria’s equity (ISIN: DE000A0LD2U1) has been listed since April 3, 2007 in the official Prime Standard market of FWB, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. As of November 7, 2007, the company has been included in Deutsche Börse’s REITs segment.
