Therefore, Xpect provides the most up-to-date information available on longevity and mortality for the specific country. Xpect Data is based on admitted, published and documented models and provided on statistical forecasts only, no subjective expectations.

In order to simulate longevity risk also for highest ages a view to the tail of the survivors in the population is important. However, public population data are in principle only available until age of 95 years. Actual mortality information shows that people currently can reach an age of more than 110 years. Therefore, Xpect Data is depending on the cohort extended to the age of 110 years and more.
