Ankur Kamalia
Ankur Kamalia – Managing Director, DB1 Ventures

Ankur Kamalia joined Deutsche Börse Group in November 2015 to take up the newly created role as Head of Venture Portfolio Management. Prior to joining the Group, Ankur managed an investment portfolio for a family office and for a hedge fund in Asia. He also acted as a Managing Director at UBS, responsible for strategy for the Global Investment Banking division in London and worked in Corporate Finance/Capital Markets in New York, Hong Kong and Singapore. Ankur holds an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.

Monika Fuchs
Monika Fuchs – Vice President, DB1 Ventures

Monika Fuchs joined Deutsche Börse Group in 2012. Prior to her role in DB1 Ventures, she worked at the Strategic Finance department of the Group. Before joining Deutsche Börse, Monika worked as assistant vice president in the M&A department of Commerzbank, advising companies and financial investors in a range of industries on buy- and sell-side mandates. Previously, she gained relevant corporate finance experience at Rothschild, Deutsche Bank, KPMG and BMW. Monika holds a “Diplom-Betriebswirtin” and “Licenciado Superior” from European School of Business in Reutlingen and Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid.

Adity Goel
Aditya Goel – Vice President, DB1 Ventures

Aditya Goel joined Deutsche Börse Group in 2017. Aditya started his career at PIMCO in California where he worked for the Head of Global Portfolio Management, investing in interest rate products, fixed income, equities and credit funds across the Americas, Europe and emerging markets. After PIMCO, Aditya started his own investment platform merging fundamental and quantitative investing in Asia. He has experience across strategic investing, mergers and acquisitions as well as private and public investing through his work at investment funds PIMCO and Voya, and at the Samsung Strategy and Innovation Center, which invests in the future of mobility, self-driving cars and insurance. Aditya holds an MBA from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, where he served on the board of the school’s fintech initiative. At Wharton, he co-founded the Penn Artificial Intelligence Society. Aditya completed his undergraduate education at the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi, India.

Rebecca Qian Gong
Rebecca Qian Gong – Associate, DB1 Ventures

Rebecca Qian Gong joined Deutsche Börse Group in 2013. She gained first professional experience in Clearstream’s Young Graduate Programme, where she was deeply involved in the planning and execution of the company’s strategy through various initiatives and projects. At Clearstream, Rebecca was also involved in a series of strategic investments and organic growth projects within the fintech domain. Before starting her career at Deutsche Börse Group, Rebecca completed an internship in Fixed Income Sales & Trading at BNP Paribas. Rebecca holds a Master of Economics in Finance from Renmin University of China, a Master of Science in Banking and Finance from the University of Luxembourg, and a Bachelor of Economics in Finance from Renmin University of China.
