You are graduating from school and are seeking a challenging opportunity to start your career?

As one of the largest exchange organisations worldwide, we offer vocational training in commercial and technical professions, enabling you to create a solid foundation for your career and future.

Training approach and schedule

Training starts on 1 September every year at the corporate headquarters in Eschborn near Frankfurt/Main. Our commercial apprentices train for two and a half years and our technical apprentices complete their training after three years.

The monthly remuneration for both positions is €1,012 gross for the first year, €1,093 for the second and €1,171 for the third and final year of training, with 39 working hours per week.

Clerk for office management

During your training to become a clerk for office management (Kauffrau/-mann für Büromanagement), you will receive a thorough introduction to different departments of Deutsche Börse Group.

Your work in the various departments is planned on a generous time scale, enabling you to thoroughly understand the work procedures and get to know the people involved. Various in-house training courses serve to solidify and broaden this knowledge.

We involve our apprentices in our daily business. From day one, you will learn how to manage important office operations. In addition to the unique tasks within your department, you will organise meetings, prepare conferences, take minutes, write business correspondence, deal with incoming mail and coordinate appointments. You are also likely to become involved in small project assignments. Your job will make an important contribution to the success of the entire team.

Qualified IT specialist – application development/system integration

In your first year of training as a qualified IT specialist for application development/system integration (Fachinformatiker/-in – Anwendungsentwicklung/Systemintegration), you will acquire a general overview of all company departments relevant to IT. In the second and third years of training, you will focus on an area to specialise in.

The range of tasks and responsibilities varies depending on the department. Basic training includes working in data bases, the installation of programmes, administration of servers as well as the development and implementation of your own programmes and systems.

Throughout your training, you will be supported and mentored by friendly, outgoing and competent colleagues.
