Your qualifications

  • Students must be enrolled in an academic programme recognised by the state during their internship
  • Minimum of three successfully completed semesters of university studies
  • Proficiency in written and spoken German and English
  • Competent handling of MS Office applications (especially Excel)
  • Main focus or major in the area of accounting / balancing
  • Analytical skills and affinity to issues in the field of finance and accounting
  • Interest in working with legal texts and annotations
  • Engagement and self-initiative, self-dependent, structured and accurate way of working and ability to work in a team

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Assistance in drawing up financial reports in accordance with IFRS (in the framework of monthly, quarterly and annually closings)
  • Support in compilation of IFRS reports
  • Support in implementation and realisation of new accounting standards for the Group (i.e. IFRS 9 Financial Instruments, IFRS 15 Revenue Recognition, etc.)
  • Maintenance and preparation of Excel-sheets and documentation components for auditors
  • Literature research and support in creating presentations
  • Compilation of special analysis/assessments
