Your qualifications

  • Students must be enrolled in an academic programme recognised by the state during their internship
  • Students who will apply for an internship must have completed at least the second year of their university studies in an economic, mathematics or comparable course
  • Proficiency in written and spoken German and English
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (in particular MS Excel, MS Access and MS Power Point)
  • Experience with Matlab / databases / SQL and/or software development projects would be an advantage
  • Profound knowledge in statistics

  • Generate analyses and documents for the decision making process with regard to latest risk management issues
  • Participation in ongoing interdivisional projects of the area being of relevance for the whole Deutsche Börse Group
  • Support in the course of administrative and organisational risk management operations relating to credit-, market- and liquidity risks

As an Intern - Group Risk Monitoring you will have the excellent opportunity to explore capital market dynamics and to gain valuable practical experience in an innovative company. Risk management is an elementary component of the management and control of Deutsche Börse Group. The main purpose of the Risk Management area is to monitor the overall risk profile of Deutsche Börse Group and of relevant legal entities so that developments that could jeopardize the interests of Deutsche Börse Group entities can be identified and suitable countermeasures can be deployed. You will be actively taking part in our process, while we are offering you diverse, interesting and above all challenging tasks.
