Your tasks and responsibilities

  • reviewand cooperation in the preparation of rule books, general terms and conditions and agreements
  • collaboration with German and foreign supervisory authorities (BaFin and Bundesbank as well as ESMA,SEC and CFTC i.a.)
  • professional legal advice in the team to business areas and boards (in particular, the management board of
  • the clearing house and other councils and governing boards)
  • representation of Group Deutsche Börse vis-á-vis third parties (e.g. customers, working groups of

In your new position you will as part of the central law department of Deutsche Börse AG and on the basis of a thorough work specific introduction in the team be handling legal issues with a strong international context in the area of general civil and capital markets law as well as exchange, securities and supervisory law. The focus will be on the legal support of Group Deutsche Börse’s clearing house but you will also get to know other business areas such as trading, transaction settlement and securities safe custody.
