Your qualifications

  • Applicants with professional experience
  • 3+ years of experience in financial industry
  • good understanding of financial markets and client demand both on sell and buy side
  • MSc degree from a top tier university in finance, economics or natural science
  • sound experience in Microsoft Office (including VBA). Experience in Python would be a strong advantage
  • good knowledge of working with databases and large data sets
  • good knowledge of Bloomberg Terminal, FactSet and other Reuters products
  • ability to take full ownership of projects
  • ability to take the lead and coordinating with other teams
  • self-organized, carrying out multi-tasking activities
  • analytical mindset, problem solver with a meticulous eye for detail
  • proven ability to produce timely, high quality, and accurate work, under tight deadlines
  • ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with others
  • self-motivated, committed and enthusiastic
  • solid command of written and verbal in English; knowledge of German or French would be a strong advantage

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • help Sales identify the products which would best answer the specific client goals and requirements
  • provide tailored presentations and analytics to pitch products to specific customers
  • create on a regular basis short market insights reports which present products that best suit the addressed economic environment
  • regularly survey, assess and consolidate client demand, providing feedback to the entire Product team
  • proactively create and maintain library of product presentations / marketing material for existing and new indices by highlighting product's USPs and positioning existing and new indices in economic context
  • calculating index statistics
  • liaise with clients

The STOXX Product team is responsible for the creation of new indices. Core responsibilities of the Product team are the conceptual design and back-testing of new indices, ensuring that the index methodologies are adequate with respect to the declared goal of the index and compliant with the existing regulations. Additionally, closely cooperating with the Departments of Engineering, Operations, Sales, Marketing and Legal, the Product team performs a variety of activities essential to a successful index launch.
