Trainees/apprentices – selection procedure

As a company whose entire business is based on the application of specialised expertise and the use of modern information technology, we rely on highly skilled employees.

In order to be invited to the Applicant Days or an interview, you are required to already hold or be in the process of obtaining your general qualification for university entrance (such as Abitur, A-levels, Baccalaureate). Further requirements are very good academic performance and a sound knowledge of English. We expect a high degree of flexibility and initiative, a friendly and outgoing attitude as well as self-confidence and an independent and focused learning approach.

Our “Applicant Days” usually take place six months prior to the start of training. The applicants’ technical and personal aptitude required for the training is determined during group exercises, written tests and individual interviews. The event is also an excellent opportunity for applicants to take a closer look at the company and take in the atmosphere. If successful, you will be invited to a further, individual interview. After getting to know you personally and based on the results of the entire application process, we will decide whether to offer you a trainee contract with Deutsche Börse Group.
