Trading Charity at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange

Fees on St. Nicholas Day are donated to charitable institutions / Donations handed over on 12 December on the trading floor

Deutsche Börse and the security trading banks located on the trading floor of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, so-called specialists, will donate the transaction and trading fees collected on St. Nicholas Day (6 December) via the Börse Frankfurt venue (MIC: XFRA) to charitable organisations. The donation proceeds will be handed over to the associations on 12 December at 9.00 a.m. during an opening bell ceremony on the trading floor in Frankfurt.

With the Trading Charity campaign, Deutsche Börse and the ten security trading banks support four charitable institutions: The specialists will donate their trading fees to the Frankfurter Verein zur Unterstützung psychisch kranker Kinder & Jugendlicher e.V. and MainLichtblick e.V. Deutsche Börse will donate their trading proceeds to the KinderPalliativTeam Südhessen and the Leben mit Demenz e.V. Investors who trade shares, bonds, funds, ETFs , ETCs or ETNs on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on this day will help all institutions at the same time.

Last year, Deutsche Börse and the specialists donated a total of €135,000. Of this amount, Deutsche Börse donated €75,000 to the association Hilfe für krebskranke Kinder Frankfurt e.V. and the specialists €60,000 to the Frankfurter Förderverein zur Bekämpfung von Tumorerkrankungen (FFBT) e.V.
