Art Collection Deutsche Börse |
![]() Deutsche Börse Group is a major sponsor of contemporary photography. In 1999, as part of this commitment, the Group established the Art Collection Deutsche Börse, which today comprises about 1,000 mostly large size works from around 90 international artists. The photographs in the Art Collection Deutsche Börse are displayed at Deutsche Börse Group’s locations in Eschborn near Frankfurt and Luxembourg. They give a unique appearance to the buildings that house them and inspire staff and visitors alike. The Art Collection does not follow a set theme. The subjects range from landscapes and architecture through interiors and cityscapes to portraits. The collection presents several works of each artist, thus allowing the artist’s individual imagery to be fully appreciated. The collection is continually being expanded and new acquisitions and re-hangings of existing works create ever new and exciting constellations – thus keeping the presentation of the Collection stimulating and inspiring. The Art Collection is part of the corporate culture at Deutsche Börse Group and reflects the values which characterise the Group as a whole: creativity, precision and innovation. The company also sponsors exhibition projects of international museums and institutions. Since 2005, the Group has been sponsoring the Deutsche Börse Photography Prize awarded annually by the Photographers’ Gallery in London. The Art Collection Deutsche Börse is also on facebook with up-to-date information on the latest guided tours, exhibition openings in Eschborn, sponsored exhibitions and much more. |
