More transparency – ratings and indices

An ever growing number of investors want to invest in companies which conduct their business in accordance with the principles of sustainability. In addition to economic factors they base their investment decisions more and more on ecological and social criteria. Indicators issued by independent parties help investors to comprehensively evaluate a company’s corporate commitment. There are numerous sustainability ratings that assess companies according to their approach to ecological, economic and social challenges and risks. The inclusion of a company in an index which is based on ecological, social and governance criteria is another indicator of its sustainability strategies. Hence, ratings and indices provide important information on markets and competition. Our company participates in a number of significant initiatives upholding sustainability interests. Deutsche Börse’s good positioning in different rankings, its inclusion in sustainability indices and the awards it has received bear witness to its sustainability commitments.
