Economising successfully based on stable values
Our entrepreneurial actions are based on the values that have made Deutsche Börse Group one of the most successful exchange organisations in the world: integrity, reliability, precision and innovation. These form the basis for our success. As a listed service company, we always have our focus on the interests of our customers and investors. In our role of defining the market, we believe we are always responsible for stable capital and financial markets. Thus we minimise risks, create transparency and liquidity.
Sustainable product and service portfolio: responsible investments
The core competence of our Group is to provide market participants with a reliable and stable infrastructure, which makes it possible for market participants to act with a view to the long term. In making their investments, private and institutional investors are increasingly taking sustainability issues into account. Therefore we offer our customers innovative products.
Quality and customers: stability and service as guarantees
As a service company, we have a special obligation towards our customers. Therefore we make the highest possible demands in terms of comprehensive customer care and technical support. We guarantee our customers stable and secure systems for smooth trading and stand for the ultimate in quality. Our extensive business continuity management (BCM) also enables us to continue to provide our services even in the event of catastrophe.
Risk management: consistently minimising risks
As an exchange, we have a central responsibility for stable marketplaces and an obligation towards our customers to minimise trading risks. Using, for example, the clearing system of Eurex Clearing, we guarantee the execution of transactions and provide market participants with efficient instruments for risk management. Moreover, we also ensure security and stability internally through extensive risk management organised on a decentralised basis.
Compliance: preventing abuse
The unconditional obligation to comply with statutory provisions and ethical aspects is a fixed component of our corporate culture. The rules of compliance that apply throughout the Group serve to ensure that our employees act in accordance to the law and relevant regulations. The main emphasis of the rules of compliance is on avoiding insider trading and conflicts of interest, and combating fraud and corruption, amongst others.
