CDP reporting

CDP is an independent, not-for-profit organisation which holds the largest collection of company-related climate change information worldwide. The CDP’s mission is twofold – to first make the world’s largest publicly listed companies disclose their greenhouse gas emissions, and secondly to make them reduce these emissions.

Deutsche Börse Group has completed the annual CDP questionnaire each year since 2006, and was a member of the Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI) from 2009 until the CDP rebrand in 2013. CDLI membership is awarded to 35 companies from the “DACH” region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) which are ranked highest in transparency.  In addition, as a result of the partnership with the CDP, climate data for 1,800 companies globally has been available free of charge via Deutsche Börse’s information portal for sustainable securities since April 2012. The information provided allows interested market participants to compare companies according to their CO2 emissions.
