Deutsche Börse Group

Business newsletter

February 2019

Dear reader,

One week ago, we published our preliminary figures for the fourth quarter and the full year 2018. Deutsche Börse Group looks back on an excellent year 2018. We have also set the course for a number of important strategic decisions. Despite some increased cyclical and political risks, we are confident that we will continue to grow by creating value through external growth and due to our consistent use of new technologies.

A less digital but no less interesting topic: Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Art Collection Deutsche Börse with a number of exhibitions and events. The current exhibition “We love Photography!” curated by British artist and collector Martin Parr marked the start of the anniversary programme and is open until 24 May 2019 as part of guided tours in our corporate headquarters, The Cube, in Eschborn.

Last but not least, our company will be investing a total of €18.5 million in the modernisation of a very special location until the beginning of 2020: Deutsche Börse is expanding the historical stock exchange building in the centre of Frankfurt – the location of the famous trading floor – into an attractive contact point for the Frankfurt financial centre and the general public. Read more in this edition of our newsletter.

Kind regards,
Mareike Sich
