Dear reader,

At Deutsche Börse November is photography month: To close the anniversary year of the Art Collection Deutsche Börse, the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation is showing its new acquisitions for the collection from 2018 and 2019 under the title "New Works". The exhibition will be on view at our corporate headquarters, The Cube, from 22 November. The four finalists for the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize 2020 have also been selected: Mohamed Bourouissa, Anton Kusters, Mark Neville, and Clare Strand. We are excited to see who will receive this prestigious prize in May next year at the Photographers' Gallery in London.

About a month ago, IT professionals, executives and traders from the financial sector met at the Open Day 2019 Deutsche Börse IT Conference in Eschborn to discuss developments in the digital future of our industry. Topics related to new technologies are relevant to us in many areas. Commerzbank, Deutsche Börse and MEAG, for example, have successfully investigated the settlement of a legally binding securities transaction using distributed ledger technology in their current feasibility study.

Deutsche Börse is setting the course for a successful future in all business areas. If you would like to learn more about this first-hand, I recommend the recording of our current analyst and investor call.

Did you know that women invest their money differently from men? The next Capital Markets Academy seminar by women for women will take place on November 23, 2019. In this seminar you will learn how to use ETFs for asset building and how sustainable investing in the stock market works. You can find out more details in our video. Another exciting event will take place from 25 November 2019 in Frankfurt – at the German Equity Forum, investors will meet with around 250 companies.

I hope you enjoy reading and discovering this edition of our newsletter!
