Ihre Qualifikationen

  • Applicants with professional experience
  • Entry-level employees
  • University degree and/or a comparable training
  • Working experience in an IT-Operations environment
  • Experience with Linux, SQL, Java/J2EE and scripting required
  • Experience with Oracle is mandatory, experience with Informatica highly desirable, experience with Control-M and Micro-Strategy will be advantageous
  • An affinity for analyses and problem solving is highly desirable, incl. the associated skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory; French/German language skills will be an asset

Ihre Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten

  • Monitoring of production systems, interfaces and databases using events and alerts in Informatica and Control-M
  • Investigation of impact of occurring errors within the entire job-schedule
  • Corrective actions upon failures (e.g. killing or restart of jobs)
  • Creation of comprehensive error reports and information/notification of relevant contact persons for follow-up
  • First level support for users (acting as point of contact)
  • Initial assessment of incidents and first attempt for incident resolution
  • Involvement of 2nd level application on-call support in Germany for incidents that cannot be resolved independently
  • Appropriate logging of incident information (also to allow for targeted Problem Management)
  • Testing activity as part of software releases
  • Software rollout (partial releases) as part of maintenance time windows
  • Change measures as part of the Configuration Management
  • Update of information in Configuration Database (CMDB)
  • Performance monitoring and reporting, incl. identified triggers for bottlenecks
  • SLA Monitoring and reporting
  • Initiation of appropriate failover procedures upon severe disruptions of service
  • Initiation of relevant data recovery procedures
  • Creation and distribution of pre-defined standard reports to Business Units

StatistiX® is the Data Warehouse of Deutsche Börse Group. StatistiX® provides external and internal users worldwide with statistical information on financial markets such as trading and price data, orders and quotes as well as clearing and settlement data. Furthermore StatistiX® offers Data Store Services and acts as Business Intelligence and Risk Analytics platform of Deutsche Börse Group. Aim of the position is to support the German StatistiX IT-Operations team as part of a 24/7 –Operating Model. As the data processed and stored within StatistiX not only plays a vital role for DBAG’s Trading-production environment but also for group entities like the European Energy Exchange, there is the need for a permanent professional monitoring and support during both day- and nighttime. While daytime is covered by the German team based in Eschborn, the nighttime is coved by the US-based StatistiX Operation team.
