For Deutsche Börse Group Corporate Governance means responsible management and supervision of our Company with a strong focus on the creation of sustainable value. The following aspects are of vital importance for us in this context:
- Open communication with our investors and customers
- Efficient internal and external control mechanisms
- Loyal and trustful cooperation of the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board
- Transparent accounting
- Reporting in time
The German Corporate Governance Code was first presented in February 2002 by a government commission appointed by the German Ministry of Justice. Our Company has been a member of this commission from the outset and has actively campaigned for improved codes of conduct and comprehensive disclosure requirements.
Both the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board issue an annual declaration of conformity with the German Corporate Governance Code. This declaration is published in the Corporate Report as well as on our website.
