Deutsche Börse AG: Reto Francioni appointed Deutsche Börse CEO

On Monday the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Börse AG nominated Dr. Reto Francioni (50) member of the Executive Board and appointed him Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Reto Francioni will assume his new responsibility with Deutsche Börse AG at the earliest possible date. The members of the Supervisory Board elected Kurt F. Viermetz new Chairman taking over the position from Dr. Rolf- E. Breuer, who resigned from the Supervisory Board as of the end of the meeting. In conjunction with the appointment of Richard Berliand, Craig Heimark, Hermann-Josef Lamberti and Dr. Erhard Schipporeit by the register court ("Registergericht") in Frankfurt/Main the appointment of new members of the Supervisory Board has been completed. Four seats were vacant after the resignations of Dr. Rolf-E. Breuer, Mehmet Dalman, Dr. Stefan Jentzsch, and Hessel Lindenbergh.
