Relevant knowledge, skills and experience

Achim Karle is an experienced expert in derivatives trading and, in his role within Eurex’s Equity & Index Sales EMEA team, is responsible for managing clients in Germany, the Netherlands, and Eastern Europe. His focus is on the launch and distribution of products such as innovative ESG index futures and Bitcoin index futures, thereby contributing to the expansion of digital asset trading at Eurex. His long-standing career within the Deutsche Börse Group has included positions in Market Supervision, participation in a clearing project in London, and co-development of the Eurex T7 trading system in New York. He holds a Bachelor of Science in International Finance from the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences and deepened his knowledge in the field of sustainability through the “Business Sustainability Management” course at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL). Mr. Karle is a member of the Works Council of Deutsche Börse AG and has served as an employee representative on the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Börse AG since 2018, where he is currently a member of the Strategy and Sustainability Committee and the Audit and Risk Committee.
