Sigrid Kozmiensky has extensive knowledge and many years of experience in the national and international financial sector, particularly in the areas of auditing, risk management, as well as supervision and regulation. She began her professional career in 2002 at PricewaterhouseCoopers AG, where she led and managed annual and special audits as well as audit-related consulting projects, before joining ING Germany in 2006, where she held various leadership positions in risk management. Since 2014 Ms. Kozmiensky worked for the European Central Bank, where she was responsible for the supervision of global systemically important banks. In 2019, she returned to ING as Deputy Chief Risk Officer and was appointed to the Executive Board in 2020, where, in addition to her role as Chief Risk Officer, she served as Deputy Chief Financial Officer responsible for finance and accounting, controlling, and regulatory reporting. From 2024 to 2025, Ms. Kozmiensky served as a member of the Executive Board and Chief Risk Officer at Bayerische Landesbank. During this time, she also served as Vice Chair of the Compensation and Control Committee and as a member of the Risk Committee of the Supervisory Board of DKB AG. As a member of the bank’s Executive Board, she was responsible for all aspects of risk management, including IT and cybersecurity, as well as compliance, regulatory affairs, risk analytics, and data management. In addition to her specialized expertise in the areas of accounting and auditing, which also encompasses sustainability reporting, Ms. Kozmiensky is familiar with capital market topics and the operations of stock exchanges due to her many years of experience in management positions in the financial industry and banking supervision, as well as her previous role on the Supervisory Board of Bayerische Börse AG. Ms. Kozmiensky has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Börse AG since 2024 and is a member of the Audit and Risk Committee.
