Relevant knowledge, skills and experience

Nadine Brandl has extensive and profound knowledge in the fields of individual and collective labor law, social law, compliance and legal policy. She combines legal research with her many years of practical experience, gained, amongst other things, in management roles at the Hans Böckler Foundation and the German Trade Union Confederation (DGB). Since 2020, she has been Head of the Legal and Legal Policy Department at ver.di’s federal administration, where she is responsible for personnel management, providing strategic advice and representing the organization on current legal as well as legal policy topics. She is a speaker at numerous professional events. In addition, she serves as an honorary professor at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, as an honorary judge at the Federal Labor Court and the Federal Social Court, and as a lawyer. Through her other supervisory board roles, she has also gained expertise in the areas of social sustainability as well as accounting, finance and audit. She has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Börse AG since May 2018 and is a member of the Nomination & Governance Committee and the Committee of the Chair.
