Deutsche Börse Group rings the bell 25 Years Since IPO

Today, together with our colleagues and the Mayor of Frankfurt, Mike Josef, we celebrated 25 years since our IPO up on our historic trading floor at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, the heart of European capital markets – where it all started! With the pioneering step as the first Western exchange to list itself, we transformed ourselves into the leading European financial market infrastructure that we are today. And we are continuing our mission with our new strategy „Leading the Transformation“. In a time of geopolitical and technological disruptions, like AI and DLT, we will work with our clients and public partners for long-term growth.

The IPO paved the way for our growth journey and numerous transformative acquisitions. We brought EEX Group and Clearstream into the fold. We added 360T, ISS STOXX and Crypto Finance Group. More recently, we've added the expertise of SimCorp and have announced our intention to acquire Allfunds, continuing to build an integrated, efficient, and cutting-edge ecosystem for our clients. We have grown from Frankfurt to cover Europe and play across the globe in most of our businesses.

Our growth underscores the value of public markets. We have grown from a classical German exchange to a global team of 16,000+ #CapitalMarketsEngineers, of which 11,000 of our colleagues are based in Europe. Our market cap has increased more than tenfold since our listing, a testament to the long-term vision we have pursued.
