Deutsche Börse Cash Market

Deutsche Börse’s cash markets generated a turnover of €118.72 billion in November (previous year: 104.46 billion / previous month: €108.00 billion).

€115.02 billion were attributable to Xetra (previous year: €101.44 billion / previous month: €104.28 billion), bringing the average daily Xetra trading volume to €5.48 billion (previous year: €4,61 billion / previous month: €4.53 billion). Trading volumes on Börse Frankfurt were €3.70 billion (previous year: €3.02 billion / previous month: €3.72 billion).

By type of asset class, equities accounted for €91.33 billion in the entire cash market. Trading in ETFs/ETCs/ETNs generated a turnover of €25.71 billion. Turnover in bonds was €0.63 billion, in certificates €0.99 billion and in funds €0.05 billion.

The DAX stock with the highest turnover on Xetra in November was SAP SE with €6.06 billion. Lufthansa AG led the MDAX with €571.68 million, while Evotec SE led the SDAX index with €484.32 million. In the ETF segment the iShares Core S&P 500 UCITS ETF USD (Acc) generated the largest volume with €1.20 billion.
