Deutsche Börse Trading Volumes in July 2026

Deutsche Börse with its trading venues Xetra and Frankfurt generated a turnover of €163.37 billion in July (previous year: €137.45 billion / previous month: €188.94 billion).

€157.51 billion were attributable to Deutsche Börse Xetra (previous year: €133.30 billion / previous month: €182.36 billion), bringing the average daily Xetra trading volume to €6.85 billion (previous year: €5.80 billion / previous month: €8.29 billion). Trading volumes on Deutsche Börse Frankfurt were €5.86 billion (previous year: €4.16 billion / previous month: €6.58 billion).

By type of asset class, equities accounted in total for €121.96 billion. Trading in ETFs/ETCs/ETNs generated a turnover of €39.73 billion. Turnover in bonds was €0.46 billion, in certificates €1.17 billion and in funds €0.04 billion.

The DAX stock with the highest turnover on Xetra in July was SAP SE with €9.38 billion. Deutsche Lufthansa AG led the MDAX with €798.46 million, while Carl Zeiss Meditec AG led the SDAX index with €197.80 million. In the ETF segment iShares Core EURO STOXX 50 UCITS ETF generated the largest volume with €1.55 billion.

The five stocks with the highest turnover on the Deutsche Börse Frankfurt trading venue were SK HYNIX GDR with €2.20 billion, Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. (GDR) with €75.5 million, Micron Technology Inc. with €66.2 million, Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. GDR with €44.7 million and Rheinmetall AG with €32.4 million.
